Renewal Standards for
Veritas, Unitas, and Caritas Student Assistance

Veritas Academic Scholarship

1.   Students receiving $2,500 scholarship must maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher.

2.   Students receiving $1,250 scholarship must maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher.

3.   The student must be in good standing with the discipline office (2 or fewer blue slips).

4.   The student must be in good standing with the attendance office (6 or fewer absences/tardies)

5.   The student must be up-to-date in paying his remaining balance of tuition and/or any other fees.

6.   The student must make an effort to enrich the life of the St. Rita High School family (this may be demonstrated through academic endeavors, dedication to service or extracurricular activities, or through simple generosity and kindness to fellow members of the St. Rita family)

7.   Scholarships may not be renewed if academic or social behaviors of the scholar are judged unfit by the scholarships/financial aid director and/or committee.

 Unitas Service & Involvement Award

1.   Academic Achievement: Students must maintain passing grades; failures or multiple "D" grades may eliminate them from program participation.

2.   Dedication to Extracurricular Activity:  Demonstrate a high level of dedication to a variety of extracurricular activities.

3.   Good Standing with the Discipline Office: 2 or fewer blue slips.

4.   Good Standing with the Attendance Office: 6 or fewer absences/tardies.

5.   Commitment to Service to School & Community: Demonstrate a high level of dedication to service to school and community.

6.   The student must be up-to-date in paying his remaining balance of tuition and/or any other fees.

7.   Awards may not be renewed, or amount of award reduced, if academic or social behaviors of the scholar are judged unfit by the scholarships/financial aid director and/or committee.

 Caritas Financial Aid Package

1.   Students must maintain passing grades; failures or multiple "D" grades may eliminate them from program participation.

2.   The student must be in good standing with the discipline office (2 or fewer blue slips).

3.   The student must be in good standing with the attendance office (6 or fewer absences/tardies)

4.   The student must be up-to-date in paying his remaining balance of tuition and/or any other fees.

5.   The student must make an effort to enrich the life of the St. Rita High School family (this may be demonstrated through academic endeavors, dedication to service or extracurricular activities, or through simple generosity and kindness to fellow members of the St. Rita family).

6.   All current financial forms and tax statements must be submitted to F.A.C.T.S. Grant and Aid Assessment Company each year.

7.   Scholarships may not be renewed if academic or social behaviors of the scholar are judged unfit by the scholarships/financial aid director and/or committee.
