Shadow Day

This is the best opportunity for you to experience what it will be like for you to be a St. Rita student.  Most Ritamen still say, "As soon as I did a Shadow Day, this school just felt like home."

We want you to have the same experience.  Join us on any regular school day.

You can schedule a Shadow Day on any school day that St. Rita is in session.

Any young man in 7th and 8th grade who is interested in attending St. Rita can schedule a Shadow Day. You will be paired with a St. Rita host and accompany that Ritaman throughout the school day. You can contact Mr. Craig Ferguson at (773) 925-RITA, e-mail him at cferguson@stritahs.com, or simply fill out the form below to arrange a Shadow Day.

Shadow Day Policy

  • Students will not be permitted to Shadow without proper prior arrangements.

  • Visiting students should arrive 7:45 AM in the main entrance. They will be dismissed at about 2:30.

  • Visiting students must wear school attire: dress pants, dress shoes, and a collared shirt (polo shirts acceptable).

  • Lunch will be provided.

  • Parents of the visiting student are responsible for transportation to and from St. Rita High School.
