The International
Exchange Program

The success of the International Exchange Program relies on the support of our St. Rita Family.
In order for our students to travel to Germany in June of 2008, we will need financial support.
Please make a donation to give a St. Rita Student the opportunity of a lifetime.

The world is a book, and the person who stays at home reads but one page.

Mission Statement:

The International Exchange Program at St. Rita of Cascia High School is a volunteer program that teaches the knowledge and the skills needed for our students to act as responsible, global citizens, with the spirit of understanding and tolerance for diverse cultures to live together in truth, unity, and love.  Veritas * Unitas * Caritas

International Exchange Information:

St. Rita of Cascia High School is proud to announce the formation of The International Exchange Program.  This program will allow select students (through applications and recommendations) the opportunity to participate in a cultural exchange with different schools from around the world.  More specifically, in September of 2007, our students and families will have the opportunity to house students from Emilie Wustenfeld Gymnasium in Hamburg, Germany.  They will stay with us for three weeks and will experience family life, school life, and city life.  On the return exchange, our students will travel to Hamburg in June of 2008.  They will stay with a host family for three weeks and experience German life.  This program was initiated by Christoph Lichtenfeld of the Chicago-Hamburg Sister Cities Committee.
