Steelers' Matt Conrath '07 Returns to Campus for Summer Camp!

St. Rita High School has several young alumni currently playing professional sports. As part of a long-standing tradition and brotherhood, they often come back to campus to give their time to their beloved alma mater. They came to St. Rita for four years, but they stay for a lifetime...

In keeping with this tradition, on day three of St. Rita Head Football Coach Todd Kuska's '90 grade-school football summer camp, St. Rita Alumnus and Pittsburgh Steeler Matt Conrath '07 returned to campus to help with camp and meet future Ritamen. After drilling much of the afternoon, campers were able to have some personal interaction, in the form of question & answer and autograph sessions, with the Steelers' defensive end and St. Linus parishioner.

The campers said they look forward to day four of football camp under the guidance of the St. Rita coaching staff and also look forward to seeing great things from Matt in the Steelers' 3-4 defensive scheme. While many of the campers are Chicago Bears fans, it seems they may be rooting for the NFL's Steelers in the AFC this year too!
