Soccer
Program Welcomes New Head Coach
Bob Conlon, Athletic Director at St. Rita High
School, is pleased to announce that Antonio Godinez has been named
St. Rita’s Head Varsity Soccer Coach. Antonio graduated from Lewis
University and played on the Men’s Soccer Team that received the
first national bid in school history. He is also entering his
fourth year as Head Varsity Soccer Coach at Maria High School.
In addition, Mike Carlson (a graduate of St.
Rita) will be our Director of Soccer Operations and remain as Head
Sophomore Soccer Coach. Mike’s coaching experience includes
thirteen years with the park district, two years at club level
(Northern Illinois Soccer League) and has been dedicated to
developing our St. Rita student/athletes for the past four years.
These two gentlemen are anxious to continue
building on the tradition started by last year’s St. Rita Varsity
and Sophomore Chicago Catholic League Soccer Champions.
GO MUSTANGS!
