The philosophy of the St. Rita Baseball Program is
to focus on the complete development of the student-athlete. Our “off-field” approach comes before everything else. The St. Rita
baseball player is held to the highest of standards spiritually,
academically and athletically. Our “on-field” philosophy is to
approach every part of our season with hard work and a focus on
building great habits, giving us the opportunity to be the best we
can possibly be as individuals and as a team. We have a persistence
to be great by setting demanding goals and taking an aggressive and
positive attitude towards everything we do. Playing a difficult
schedule allows us to experience a season filled with adversity. The
ups and downs of a baseball season allow you to experience the bad,
which in turn makes you appreciate the good that much more.
Experiencing that good is what we are about. We believe success is a
choice and we choose to be successful.
