Calvin Gousman – Freshman Calvin is a member of Christ the King Parish and a graduate of Christ the King grammar school. Here at St. Rita Calvin is a member of the French Club, Creative Arts Club, and freshman football. He is also on Student Government as Freshman class representative. Calvin plans to do track and field in the spring and return to theater which he was involved in for a short time the beginning of this year.

When asked to describe his time here at St. Rita so far he says, “I have only been here a few months and I know I made the right choice coming to Rita. I am proud to call St. Rita my new home and the friends I have made are my brothers. I look forward to continuing my education as a Ritaman.”

Chris Lesnicki - Sophomore

Chris comes to St Rita from St. Gerald Parish and school. In the two years Chris has been here at St. Rita, he has been a member of the Skating Mustang Hockey team. Outside of school, Chris has volunteered his time at Ronald McDonald House.

When asked to reflect on his time here at St. Rita Chris says, “My time at St. Rita has been awesome. I have met so many new friends that I hope I will have for a lifetime. I hope my time here doesn’t go by TOO fast.”

Stanton Zaczek – Junior

Stanton comes to St. Rita from Lemont, Il., where he is a member of St. Patrick Parish and a graduate of Old Quarry Middle School. Stanton has been involved in a number of different sports and activities while here at St. Rita. He has been involved with swimming, cross country, band & jazz band, Knights of Augustine, stock club, and Business Leaders of America. Outside of St. Rita, Stanton is a member of the Lemont Tri-Parish Youth Group and has participated in a mission trip through his youth group to St. Louis and Catholic Heart Work Camp.

Stanton states, “St. Rita has offered me an experience of knowledge, spirituality, friendship and many good times.”

Shea Pender – Senior

Shea comes to St. Rita from St. Germaine Parish, graduating from Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School. He currently ranks 6th in the senior class with a 4.65 GPA. His involvement here at St. Rita over the years has been: Knights of Augustine, Theatre, Student Government, Mustang Maniacs, Creative Arts Society, lector at school Masses and a participant in SAVI his sophomore year. Shea also is involved with Mother McAuley Theatre and Oak Lawn Community Theatre in several theatre productions over the past 4 years.

In sharing his thoughts about his time here at St. Rita Shea says, “St. Rita by no means started out perfect for me, but my 4 years here have helped me make some of my closest friends. St. Rita became so much more for me than I ever hoped it could. I’m happy knowing that I’ve made the right choice.”
