Recently, three more St. Rita High School seniors signed national letters of intent to continue playing football and advance their academic learning at the collegiate level. Administrators, coaches and family members joined them for the signing ceremony in the St. Rita Football conference room.
Tom Schofield (Mt. Greenwood School/Queen of Martyrs Parish) will attend Valparaiso University in Valparaiso, Indiana.
Nick Demma (St. Christina School) will attend St. Norbert University in De Pere, Wisconsin.
Tom Rehfeld (Oak Lawn-Hometown Middle School/St. Catherine of Alexandria Parish) will attend Western Illinois University in Macomb, Illinois.
With these three Ritamen signing, the total number of football players from the St. Rita Class of 2015 committed to continue their athletic and academic careers utilizing football scholarships is 12, with more student-athletes still undecided.
