St. Rita Welcomes Five Students from Villanova Prep in Australia

Chicago, IL - It was an eventful start to the week of on April 11 at St. Rita High School. Five students from St. Rita's Augustinian counterpart in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia--Villanova College were welcomed to Chicago as part of a student exchange program.

Villanova College is an Augustinian all-boys preparatory school similar to St. Rita. The Villanova students are being hosted for the next two weeks by St. Rita families.


The five St. Rita host families will send their sons to Australia along with St. Rita Faculty member Mr. Brendan Dowd at the end of May for two weeks. The Ritamen will stay with their Australian friends and be part of the Villanova College community at the end of May for two weeks.  

St. Rita Faculty member Mrs. Colleen Earley is coordinating the program for St. Rita and the Villanova students are accompanied by chaperone Mr. Adrian Hellwig.
