Shadowing is the best opportunity for you to experience what it is like to be a St. Rita student. Any young man in the 6th, 7th and 8th grade who is interested in attending St. Rita can schedule a Shadow Day. You will be paired with a St. Rita freshman or someone you know and accompany that Ritaman throughout the school day. Shadowing is open for students who are currently in grade school. We do not allow current high school students to shadow at St. Rita, unless otherwise contacted first by the student's parents and his current high school.
Students can shadow St. Rita on any full school day, but must do so with prior registration.
You can contact Mr. Ed Leiser ’04, at (773) 925-6600 ext. 6613, e-mail him at email@example.com, or simply fill out the form below to arrange a Shadow Day.
There are no Shadow Days on the following Dates:
December 18-20 (Final Exams)
December 21--Jan.6 (Christmas Break)
January 18 (ACT Practice Day)
March 11--15 (Spring Break)
April 17--22 (Easter Break)

Shadow Day Policy
Students will not be permitted to Shadow without prior arrangements.
Visiting students should arrive between 8:00 a.m. -- 8:15 a.m. to the main entrance of the school, which is on the west side of campus. Shadow students will check-in there before heading over to the Admissions Office. The school day begins at 8:30 a.m. They will be dismissed at 2:45 p.m.
Visiting students must wear school attire: dress pants, dress shoes, and a collared shirt (polo shirts acceptable).
Lunch will be provided.
Parents of the visiting student are responsible for transportation to and from St. Rita High School. If parents wish to stick around for a personal tour of campus, they are welcome to, but are asked to notify the Admissions Office first to make accommodations.
