A Tribute to Tradition: St. Rita Unveils Permanent Hall of Fame

Last month, the St. Rita Office of Institutional Advancement hosted their Annual President’s Reception in the Van Leuven Center. The event, which is a formal “thank you” to St. Rita’s most loyal supporters who belong to the President’s Club, involved a formal blessing and dedication of the newly installed, permanent St. Rita Hall of Fame. The display was recreated after several years of the Hall of Fame being only accessible digitally.

The blessing was led by Alumni & Athletic Chaplain Fr. Bernard Danber, O.S.A. ’68, who is a Hall of Famer himself and former St. Rita High School principal.

“We were honored to welcome our alumni and benefactors to celebrate the unveiling of our new St. Rita Hall of Fame. This display pays tribute to our rich history and tradition, and it inspires the next generation of Ritamen,” stated Deacon John Donahue, J.D. Ed.D., President of St. Rita High School. “On behalf of our entire St. Rita Family, we are truly grateful for our benefactors—your unwavering support continues to provide a world-class Augustinian education to working class families.”

Thank you to all of our generous supporters – those in attendance and who could not be there —as well as our Hall of Famers and their families for celebrating with us.
