Wrestling

As a young kid Coach Klinger grew up in Oak Lawn and chose to attend St. Rita High School in 1999. While attending St. Rita, Coach Klinger, was an honor roll student, involved in student government and wrestled varsity all four years for the Mustangs. He led the Mustangs to their first ever Team State Title in 2003, won an individual State Title in 2002 and was placed down state 3 years in a row advancing to the State Semifinals each trip. 

After high school Coach Klinger went on to wrestle for the Illini and was a member of the 2005 Big Ten Championship team. Prior to coming back to St. Rita as an Admissions & Enrollment Coordinator and Head Wrestling Coach he worked as a pharmaceutical sales representative and insurance broker. In 2018 he married his wife Jade whom he has two Son's with. They currently reside in the Mount Greenwood area with their Son's and dog.
