St. Rita Honors Jasica Art Scholarship Winners

During our All-School Mass on Wednesday, April 10, we celebrated two Ritamen who were selected by Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Jasica as recipients of this year’s Joseph J. Jasica Jr. (‘52) Memorial Art Scholarship.

In 2006, Raymond Jasica (‘55), Robert Jasica (‘57), and their families established the Joseph J. Jasica Jr. (‘52) Memorial Art Scholarship. Their brother, Joseph Jasica, was not only a St. Rita graduate himself, but was also the grandfather of Mark (‘08) and Brian (‘11) Omastiak. The Jasica family has hosted this scholarship competition to honor their brother and to promote St. Rita’s Art program by highlighting the talents of our Ritamen.

Recipients received their commemorative award from Art Teacher Mrs. Sarah Arteaga, Principal Mr. Josh Blaszak ‘02, and President Deacon John Donahue, J.D. Ed.D.

Congratulations to the following Ritamen:

Scholarship Recipient: Kevin Kehoe ‘24

The 2023-2024 Best in Show Scholarship Recipient: Michael Shew ‘25
