Sanchez decided to further is education and his bowling career at Calumet College of St. Joseph, where he was a four year starter and — like he was in high school — nominated captain of his team for two years. Throughout his four years at Calumet College, the bowling team was ranked number one in the country two times. The team also qualified for nationals all four years, placing 3rd in Sanchez’s junior year.

In addition to Sanchez’s impressive high school and college bowling career, he has successfully bowled eight 300 games along with six 800 games. He has also been a member of the ebonite team for years and has been given many sponsorships on bowling balls and equipment.

“Coach Sanchez brings with him many outstanding bowling achievements, which made him the perfect candidate to be our next head bowling coach.” Director of Athletics AJ Avery said, “We are excited to have Coach Sanchez join our St. Rita coaching staff and work closely with our bowling team!”
