Ken ‘76 & Maria Wroblewski Named Couple Of The Year
St. Rita High School is proud to be naming Ken ‘76 and Maria Wroblewski the Couple of the Year at The 37th Annual Caritas Gala Valentine Dinner Dance.
The Couple of the Year Award is presented to honor a couple who is closely tied to the St. Rita Family. The couple is recognized mainly for their direct involvement and support of the mission of St. Rita. They are also recognized for the support of other charitable endeavors outside of the St. Rita community.
Ken ’76 was inspired by his St. Rita accounting teachers, Bob Schlender and Richard Grill, which set the foundation for a successful career as a CPA, Chartered Global Management Accountant, and industry Chief Financial Officer. His professional journey included leadership roles with private-equity–sponsored portfolio companies across a variety of industries. Ken married his high school sweetheart, Maria, and they recently celebrated 44 years of marriage. A proud St. Rita family, Ken’s brothers, Tom ’78 and Mark ’79, are also alumni.
Maria, a 1977 graduate of Immaculate Heart of Mary High School in Westchester, Illinois, began her career as a dental assistant working alongside her brother, Joseph Loduca DDS ’68. After taking time off to raise their children, she concluded a 27-year career on the merchandising team at Ace Hardware Corporation. Maria’s twin brother, Michael, is also a member of the St. Rita class of 1977.
Together, Ken and Maria are members of St. Gerald Parish in Oak Lawn and the proud parents of three children—Kenneth Jr. ’02, Nicholas ’04, and Alexa—as well as the joyful grandparents of five beautiful granddaughters: Olivia, Audrey, Noemi, Colette, and Maeve.
The Wroblewskis are longtime members of the St. Rita President’s Club, staunch annual supporters of the Caritas Gala and the St. Rita Scholarship Golf Outing.
Congratulations, Ken and Maria!
