Father Tom McCarthy, O.S.A. ‘83 Elected Prior Provincial of the Midwest Augustinians

Congratulations to our very own Director of Community Relations and Shrine Chapel Director, Fr. Tom McCarthy, O.S.A. ’83, who has been elected Prior Provincial of the Midwest Augustinians, Province of Our Mother of Good Counsel!

Fr. Tom, who is now considered Provincial-elect, will be installed as the leader of the Midwest Augustinians in June 2026.

May the Holy Spirit guide Fr. Tom in his new role, and may the intercession of St. Rita inspire him with wisdom and grace.
