The New Shrine of St. Carlo Acutis - An Example for Every Ritaman

St. Rita High School is honored to welcome a very special addition to our Shrine Chapel! A shrine dedicated to St. Carlo Acutis, the newest Saint of the Catholic Church and the first Saint of the millennial generation.

Carlo Acutis was a young man who loved the everyday experiences of being a young person, but above all, loved Jesus and the Eucharist. He attended Mass daily and used his gifts and talents to share his faith with others. Carlo died at just 15 years old, but his short life continues to inspire young people around the world.

The beautiful painting of St. Carlo Acutis was created by local artist Joe Folise, adding another piece to our Shrine Chapel. We are deeply grateful to the Tom Hopkins Foundation for generously gifting St. Rita this shrine. Their commitment to supporting children and young people makes this gift especially meaningful, reflecting the same spirit of hope and investment in the next generation that Carlo Acutis embodied throughout his life.
