Reverend Tom McCarthy, O.S.A. ’83 Provincial Installation Ceremony

On Wednesday, June 10, we celebrated our very own, Reverend Tom McCarthy, O.S.A. ’83, as he was officially installed as Prior Provincial of the Province of Our Mother of Good Counsel by the presider of the ceremony, Reverend Kevin DePrinzio, O.S.A., Assistant General of the Order of St. Augustine.

We also honored the ministry of Reverend Anthony Pizzo, O.S.A., recognizing his eight years of dedicated leadership and service as Prior Provincial.

Adding to the celebration, Father Tom surprised guests with a special performance by the Shannon Rovers Irish Pipe Band, making the occasion even more memorable.

The installation was held in our Shrine Chapel, and despite severe storms causing a campus-wide power outage, the ceremony remained a beautiful and meaningful celebration of faith, leadership, and the strength of the Augustinian community.
